The Advocacy & Communications Unit plays a pivotal role in advancing the mission of the ESCC by fostering public awareness, stakeholder engagement, and voluntary compliance with Competition laws. Through strategic communication and targeted advocacy initiatives, the department ensures that businesses, consumers, and key industry players are well-informed about their rights, obligations, and the broader principles of fair competition.

Our mandate is to create an environment where compliance is not just enforced but embraced as a shared responsibility. To achieve this, we:

  • Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships to facilitate ongoing dialogue and collaboration.
  • Conduct Competition awareness workshops to educate businesses and the public on fair market practices.
  • Promote consumer rights and responsibilities to empower individuals and organizations with essential knowledge.
  • Develop high-impact communication materials that effectively convey the Commission’s work and priorities.
  • Craft compelling messaging for diverse communication channels, ensuring clarity, relevance, and engagement.

By proactively engaging with the public and industry stakeholders, the department ensures that Competition laws are not only understood but also voluntarily upheld, ensuring a competitive and consumer-friendly economic landscape.
